What can I say? Absolutely awesome. Love the way the old skool hip hop thrown in, and the balearic section really hits the spot. This mix is class, and if this is only a snapshot of what the Hac was like, then it deserves its place in the Pantheon of Clubs! Got to admit that I only made it to the Hac once, in 1995. Sasha and Digweed were on, with a PA from BT. It was on a Friday, and I have to admit that the night was OK, but only OK. The club was clearly past its prime, and we went to Cream the following night and the DJ's there tore the roof of the place. Clearly the Hac had had its day and things had moved on.

On this mix though you can really hear the crowd going for it, especially when Kariya and Orange Lemon come on. I remember telling my Auntie, who is only about 15 years older than me that I really wanted to go to the Hacienda, and she said "You don't want to go there, its full of Druggies!", which only made me want to go more, but alas, I took the Wigan Pier, Bowlers, Angels route to oblivion.....wish I was a few years older and gone to the Hacienda in its hey day. Class Mix, thanks for sharing!
