Hard to Find Records (Prices)

hi,

does anyone know how u can find out what HTFR charge for a record if they dont have it in stock on their website,

someone told me once but i forgot (doh!).

If it's one of the one's that they want to purchase then they give a price they're prepared to pay.

If they're prepared to pay £4 then they sell the record for £25, £5 and they sell it for £30, £7 and they sell for £50, up to £21 where they sell it for £100.

That used to be the case anyway, the figures may have changed a bit now though.

Jonno's just about got it with the price scale for the tunes they want to purchase but aren't in stock. The price charged is 5 times what they'll pay, so £4 would be £20, £5, £25 and so on. I suppose you could try ringing and asking, but that's fairly obvious, and unfortunately the best I can come up with lol. Ed

Thats coz they're scrotes! I think they're over-priced!!! Even for new music. It doesn't really take much digging to find some european seller who halves the price quite often!

Not that I'm trying to defend them or anything, but amazingly for some reason from time to time you can get some amazing bargains from them. I got a copy of the E-lustrious mixes of Gwen Guthrie-Ain't nothing going on but the rent for 99p a couple of months back, and they had some other good bits for a £1 each not so long ago. I would generally agree that they are overpriced...but only because people DO pay these prices. All I would say is that it is worth having a peak at their lists from time to time...you never know what might turn up. Ed
