Heyup peeps,

Tried every where to get a trial version of it but cant find it, and the full software is just a rip off.

Ive started faffing with a music project, as you do late saturday nite :| and need this software to finish it off.

Cubase SX 2.0 is virtually the same as Nuendo as far as I know. Nuendo is more suited to those whose very very conversant in recording already and need slightly more advanced tools for somesort of industry standard recording and editing - hence the expense.

I used to use Nuendo from time to time, back when there was only Cubase 4 (which I could never use, it was too complicated and clunky).......Nuendo was a lot neater and easier to use - the working layout was better and by far graphically superior to Cubase. However with the advent of Cubase SX - especially version 2, I think Cubase SX is great for 95% of users and much cheaper I reckon.

You might as well get Nuendo or Cubase or both if youre using cracked softwares, but if you wanna buy one, Id probably go for Cubasis SX if they are still making the 'Cubasis' range or the full Cubase. You sometimes get cut down versions or special edition 'Cubasis' for free on magazine fronts if youre patient enough :). You know, like a wavelab 'lite' kinda deal.

Its been a while since I dabbled in either Cubase or Nuendo, so I cant claim to be cutting edge on those scores.

Cheerio
