Has anybody got a spare Rane ground nut, or any small imperials nuts lying around?
I bought a Rane mixer in 'Perfect condition', but once I inspected it I realised the ground nut was missing. It's the bit that holds the turntable ground wires to the thread on the mixer to stop the irritating hum. I've looked online and there's 2 stockist of the nut and only one that will deliver to the UK. The nut is $9 and postage is $25:o then there's the wait. I've tried B&Q and my local handyman shop (who normally has everything) and i've concluded that because none of the metric nuts will fit and because American companies still work to imperial, it's going to need an imperial measure of nut. I can't find my vernier to get an accurate measure, but it looks to be about a 1/8th of an inch. Has anyone got something that might fit?
