What a greatly of grreatness nights that was :D

Im still a bit :fekked: as you might have noticed in the club I dont think I rememembered to bring a belt to hold me brain in :fekked:

Right, firstly big boo hiss to t-shirt place on oldham street for failing to do my 2 t-shirts between thursday and saturday, got there to pick em up sat afternoon and they'd done fuck all, the bastards

2nd boo hiss to rip off place in afflecks arcade charging jay £10 for a plain t-shirt and the t-shirt place in there for not having any in lol "try primark" :axe:

--

Nexty upy thanks massively to neet and jay for your hosipitality and the steak dinner - even though it took me ages to eat it  :D

Was top to meet (nobs) neet's sister cat, mike and darren (can't think of the others name(s?) :S

Got to the club at 10:30ish and was well impressed I didnt getg searched as was a bit para about what was under me balls lol  :p :fekked:

Have to say the first time Ive enjoyed some of vertigo's set as he played a coupla acid tracks back to back (one was hardfloor acperiance)

Tried to tell him it was good but the words didnt come out haha ;)

Nippers set was awesome of toppy top things, reet back to 1987 and 1988 with some of them tracks, a noice Hacienda vibe going on there and I was so chuffed I made the right choice of nights out  was top to hear Dmob - Aciiiiieeedd lol (my head agreed it was full on acid alright arrrrrrrr jearrrrrrr)

Only caught a bit of Altern 8's set as the super fine sexy Dreamgirl was on upstairs and a big thanks to doolz and debs for telling me she was on coming up as I'd have hated to have missed her set, just glad it didnt clash with nipz :D

Annie, what can I say, other than I love you    You just get better and better each time and I can't believe you played Cool House :D :D :D Amazing and not sure if it was before or after but you played a track (I think) called Video Clash?

:jawdrop: :jawdrop: :jawdrop:

Oh shit I hadnt finished damnit! I want a refund OSA lol I have more to say so dont go posting till ima done  :S :D

:fekked:

Errr, Annie your mixing spot on as usual :king: and the mix of energy flash was superb :D

BIG BIG respect for Sully coming down and spinning an ace set, seemed like you tore the rulebook up if there ever was one and played such a diverse set I was really into it, and you dropped one tune that picked my head complelety, a weird slow intro then it morphed (or was that me) into a mega strong techno track   :king: :fekked:

Very enjoyable and my night was brought to me by the letters C I and E and the number 2  :D

(what a great combination that was out - must do that again)

Was top to see everyone I'd already met before and to meet some newuns too namely Ilovepianno and Jonno - sorry Jonno for missing your set but I had it in my head that you were on 4am till 6? And someone had told me you were going on again later, but you left!

I can't name everyone as it takes to long and you will be bored with reading this shit so far anyway

Back of the head grins in full effect, and the drive home was an interesting one :fekked:

I'm sure they moved manchester several times, liverpool wouldn't give it us back, they had kidnapped it the bad buggers lol

And all them red lights on the way back was mad no way should tehre be that many on the roads or maybe i imagined it lol

Had an interesting shopping experience before - got over to mo's and got to the till with me shopping to find i didnt have any money with me or any keys to the house either :$

:fekked: :fekked: :fekked: :cops: :cops: :cops:

"Hiya" lol

Aye it was a quality night, glad I came out to play. :)

I was a bit :S about coming down without knowing any of you, but a big  to Steadmanscott and valentinadobe for offering to meet up with me beforehand and introducing me to all you peeps.

I have to say though, that is was way better than I imagined it to be, and everyone who I met was proper sound. :) Nice to put faces to the names.

Was a quality venue too. I new it was a pretty small place, but as wierd as it sounds, it seemed to look bigger as more people got in. That upstaris room cracked me up though! I felt like I was dancing about in someones bedroom! Fookin' quality! BTW, Nice set up there Jonno  and christ, ya'll weren't kidding were you when you said it was warm in there were you? :| In the words of Eminem "Hotter than a set of twin babies, in a Mercedes Benz with the windows up when the temp goes up to the mid 80's" :p

Hazy All Nighter

Happy birthday Hazy !!!

Thankyou to everyone who came to the Hazy All nighter - I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Grover played a superb set upstairs and played one me fav detroit tunes - eddie flashin fowlkes - time to express :king: I also managed to pop downstairs and catch some of Vertigos set which nicely set everyone up for the rest of the night ;)

Nipper - your set was amazing !!!

I was smiling ear to ear when you played Cybotron - Clear and then lost it when you played Adonis - Rocking down the house phones: I really hope someone recorded it

Big thanks to Tag Jonno and Retro Andy who played upstairs, you really got the Hazydayz Attic bouncing

Sully you saved my day - thanks so much for the work you did upstairs and look forward to the 15th when Im in Oldham with you :)

Grover and Mart for the last 2 hours downstairs - fav tunes played were.... Open Your Eyes (what is that chick on about in that tune when she says she wants to play your tambourine :fekked: ) and Voices Of Africa and the Martin Luther speech at the end was class :)

Blue Jammer I love you too lol .... was buzzing when I played Cool House and you just swung round when you heard the oo aa oo oo oo aa in the track - class

The biggest thankyou to all the people who came from Pirate Revival and OSA and all my chums from Soulseek. It was great to see you all again and I hope you loved it - You make our jobs easy with the amount of knowledge you have about music and the enthusiasm you have when you hear the tunes we play  Also to my mates who for the last year have travelled to Hazy and given us nothing but total support for what we do :spin:

Hehe I love the way you teased that in as well, I just heard it and then you mixed it in again

What were you telling me about the 'lost lamb' lol?!

There was a guy who looked fooked :fekked: and I asked him if he was having a good night, and he just couldn't speak, which I could kinda relate to as I was just seeing mad swirly colours at the time haha, but remember you saying something about a sweet shop where he'd come from?! (or was I really that out of it that I imagined that???!)

:axe:

Coffee, I swore you'd told me your name was poppy off the anthems site, and I was like 'errrrrr poppy, right' :S It was only later when Danny was there and he said "no, it's coffee" that I got it lol top to see you out :D

More hazy madness soon

lol, no worries you are not the only one who could not understand a word I was saying - seriously thinking about changing my OSA id to my Pirate Revival name think it is easier for people to understand when I am fekked....

well what can i say.......

had a disappointing night at 'Clash' in Oldham so was lookin forward to gettin to Hazy even more so - got there just after 3 with lee kelly, cano and lozzie and walked into a hammered hazy with smiley faces everywhere - remember the tune bein played as i walked in cos it was the intro to 'mr kirks nightmare' bein mixed over somet else and i've not heard that in a club for years (think it was altern 8 on the decks).

then the mad bit - saw mart with the osa crowd and he asked if i could help him out and play upstairs for a while (lol - me help mart out by playin for hazy - more like them doin me a top favour  - luckily still had me tunes in the car from Clash)..... gotta say a big thanks to mart, grover and dreamgirl for this, wasn't really sure what to expect as i went upstairs but walked into a packed room in full flow - also only had oldskool hardcore and early techno tracks in me box so didnt know how they would go down......

15 minutes into the set and it was ace to see a really appreciative crowd gettin into the likes of 'Joey Beltram - C.O.D.E.S.', 'Liasons D - Future FJP', and best for me 'G Double E - Fire When Ready', 'Rave Signal III - Horsepower' and 'Genaside II - Narra Mine' amongst others..... also didn't really expect to get so long and ended up playin for about 90 mins til 5.

Blue Jammer was ace - raising eyebrows at every tune and pullin them mad grins - i 2 C ID'd him straight away lol

that tune was 'Fear - The Mind Killer' and i remember your face when the intro was on mate - you couldnt tell if it was right or not lol :fekked:

top back to back for the last hour as well from mart and grover downstairs - got some long wanted id's from that.

good to see everyone out again and all the new osa folk i met - overdid it at the mash up (again....) (down to lack of alcohol as i was drivin) also needed to sort some remote peckin out so soz for duckin out early but thanks for havin us in the 1st place.....

WOW!!!!!!!

What a fab night!!!!

Took me a bit to get into it cos i'd had a bit of a shitty week and really was not in the mood for it at all but that soon went right out of the window!!!!!!!

I mooched onto the dancefloor when Nipper came on and then just didn't bother leaving!!!!

It was lovely to see so many OSA'ers there, especially the first timers!!!!!

I just want to say a big well done to Retro for playing upstairs, good on you buddy i'm dead proud of you.

Also a huge big thanks to vee and lozzy for letting us come back to your house, i was going home then just jumped in woodys car at the last minute but it was lovely to be there.     I thoroughly enjoyed the large amounts of pink that were about!!!

And also a very big thanks to VA for lending me your car to get back on the sunday, you really did save me from an awfull lot of grief and i really appreciate it!!

And the biggest thankyou of course goes to Mart, Grover and Shaz for putting on such an amazing night!! I know it didn't happen easily but it was an awsome night!!!!!!

See y'all next time guys

Just about coming round. Sign of a good night when I can't explain the bruising to my back and my left shin to the missus.... :cops:

A massive shout to all the OSA crew who came, saw and well an truely PARTIEEEEED!!!! I won't list everyone as I'm bound to miss off people, but thank-you ALL for coming.

To Grover and Shaz quite simply this night just wouldn't happen without you. Thank-you so much for helping a long time enthusiast fulfill many, many dreams....

Huge thanks to the biggest star in the universe, the lovely S-J... . You sorted out the crew big style and what people don't see is the emails, texts etc. organising stuff behind the scenes which usually compromise of me with me head up me arse, getting me knickers in a twist and SJ sorting me right out. You are such a truely wonderful person and a huge asset to Hazy.

VA - cheers for the use of the temporary office bud... Lol - Don't take any lip from the cleaner and I'm expecting a Maxpax machine for next time...;)

Vertigo - It goes without saying, you are truely a shit DJ, your tunes are rubbish and I agree we should close - plus your wedgies are pants (....literally) ;) - lol my arse is still smarting...:naughty:

Nipper - by now your prolly on your way....   . This is made double worse by the fact that your set was one of the best I've ever heard. Tunes that catered for EVERYONE in the club and the mixing was supreme. You will be sorely missed bud - come back soon...

Altern 8 - well my word. Last time Mark One played it was breakbeat and rushing piano all the way -totally didn't expect the mixture of stuff you guys put together. Tuuuuuuunnnnes! And the mixing was first rate...

Massive thanks to the Economix boys for the surprise show....  I saw a few of you around the club on the night and you appeared to be enjoying yourselves.... :fekked: ;)

And a huge thanks for all those who stuck around for me and Pluto... phones:. And a huge huge thumbs up to Plutes spinning Chantel - The Realm acca when I was mixing in Lost 'The Gonzo' - some 3 deck madness that sounded fantastic....:king:

Dreamgirl - once again thank-you so much for holding the fort upstairs. As always you were on top form and without you it just wouldn't happen. Retro -  Keep on bud...;) . Jonno....  phones: Tag...  phones: and a huge, huge HUGE thank-you to Ben Fisher, Sully and Cano who rushed to our rescue for the final hour or so upstairs. Cheers guys...

I had a fab time - Thanks again EVERYONE! Here's to another 12 months of hazyness... . See some of you on the 15th in Oldham otherwise its the Halloween party on the 30th....wooooooooooooo :ghost:

Well what a weekend. I dont generally write long reviews as i am normally too spannered to do em or too busy. But i am off today so here goes.

1st things first, Gotta say a massive thanks to S-J for eveything from organising the whole getting there and back thing. Not to mention just being you at the mashup and snapping at me lol (although i think i was winding ya up) LoL :p

Next on my massive list of thanks is the Hazy team spesh Mart for giving me my first taste of playing out to a crowd. I really enjoyed it even if it looked like i was stressed. I was struggling adapting to a new mixer and sound system but having the crew there in front really helped even though i didnt actually tell that many people when i was playing lol. Thanks for all your words of support after it meant a lot and will urge me to keep improving :D

I also have to say that i know you said it was a head peck to organise but you made a real quality night lads and done be dissappointed by the fact that alot of people went home early. Even us hard as nails mash eds needed to get out of there and get back to someones HQ. I myself was knackered :(
You have to be commended for you atitude re ticket sales. You could have easily got more peeps in there and made more money but with that amount of peeps in there it would ave been just too busy for peeps to enjoy themselves like they did. :D

I really need to thank anyone who drove me around this weekend, Danny, HikkyB, Superdan (from the top of the carpark to the bottom) lol Tigger and Woody. I know having me in your car is a pleasure lol but i really appreciated the liftage. Spesh HikkyB as if it wasn't for you mate my weekend would have much more of a head peck so its really appreciated fella

Next on my masisve thanks list is Veeeeeeeeeeeeeee and Lauren (love that name btw) ;) Never been to casa del vee's but really enjoyed the experience. I know i was fairly quiet but i was a little too spannered. :fekked:

Had a right laugh spesh some of the random stuff that was said like VA'a convo about having kids lol (remember shabbas) :D and Little sam and eddie had me in stitches even if i was too tired to laugh :fekked:

Great to see everyone you all know who you are so not gonna do a massive list, was good to meet valentineadobe, ilovepiano, dreamgirl (cant believe i aint met you before), tag and anyone else i met for the first time :p

On the missing list Ow Do helen (hope your better love) Shoooooooooms (fekk know why you was missing fella but i cant see it happening again) Butty (i hear you nearly made it fella, would have been good to see you again)

I think i have nearly finished but would also like to say a big hello to nippers friends i was speaking to near the decks while he was playing. You will only see this if you decide to register lol but if you do how funny was that lass lol. Pm me for the vid's

Chao for now hopefully return next month although its well near to my next driving test :(

Andy
