[QUOTE="Phil, post: 315834, member: 508"] My attempt at a Hazy review!... As many of you already know, this was my birthday weekend, and as it fell on Sunday 26th (whilst still at Hazy), it was obviously going to be a great night out. However, nothing could prepare me for what was the best birthday I have *ever* had, and also the best night out clubbin for over 10 years.... We arrived at the car park in good time, VA arrived next, along with Sweet & Nemesis (great to meet ya fella), Tigger arrived shortly and then came the tickets. We waited for a few more peeps but as we were freezing outside, we decided to get into the club and claim the OSA space nice n early!. After a brief stop off at the bar for some liquid refreshments I provided Nemesis with the full guided tour of the club and then settled down in the OSA area to soak up the atmosphere and wait for the rest of the crew to arrive. Have to say that even though it was quite early the music was fantastic and everyone was up n' rocking early on! - within minutes the OSA area was packed with the usual suspects and everyone was in high spirits!. After saying 'hi' to everyone I proceded to the dancefloor to have a lil shimmy, I was having a brill time along with everyone else when Cookie signalled that it was nearly time for my birthday, so I came back up to the OSA area. Nothing prepared me for my birthday surprise... a card signed by everyone!!. I can honestly say that nothing like that has ever been done for me before, and it was fantastic!!!. The card was signed by over 40 people, and would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who had some involvement in passing it around the club un-noticed, asking DJ's to sign it and for all of your comments and well wishes (some of them are legendary - Jaxxy?!! WTF?!!!). The card is currently on the mantlepiece but will stay with me forever!. Special greetings go to the following : Va for his comments in the car park about 'PC's and technology'!!, LOL!, S-J (for the additional birthday card and everything else you do! - you are a star!), Nemesis for being such a genuinely nice person (hope you enjoyed the night, and that me and Cookie didn't peck your head too much!), Grad (top bloke, and thanks for the birthday timekeeping!!), Jaxxy (for, well, just being Jaxxy!), Tall Paul (you are a top bloke, thanks for the card comment!), Sweet & Shabba (no night would be complete with out you two!), Tigger (great to see you out again bud!), Danny (can't believe we had an in depth discussion on the dancefloor about the state of our club!!!! - was great to see you out again fella!), RetroAndy (again, much LUFC waffle!), Doolz & Northern Star, (you two are great!), Northern Minx & Walshy (you two look so happy, may it continue for a long time!), Dannst & Ste Huxley (always a pleasure to see you two out, Ste - got a great photi of you doing 'Jazz Hands!') and anyone else who I've forgotten to mention... Musically, what can I say?... Vertigo's set was absolutely spot on  but who played 'Al-Naafiysh'?!! The night was simply brilliant, the atmosphere, the people, the music, everything!. I can't believe that I was dancin about all night, even right til the very end when I was completely knackered, but it had been such a fantastic night, I wasn't prepared to throw in the towel early!. Hazy is something very special indeed, thanks to everyone involved in it - I'm well and truly hooked...
