hhmmm this may be dietary related but am not sure. Every so often on say a weekly basis I will get extremely hot from the neck upwards and feel pretty dizzy. It's happening right now and I am at work and its not nice. It also happened last night and I felt so weird and hot I just went to bed. One night I was in bed with my girlfriend and I was shivering but from the neck upwards was roasting. She thought I was dying and then I woke up the next morning absolutely fine. Very strange. I am hoping i don't have to do anything at work and am drinking lots of water in the hope that that will help. Have a jelly in my wallet just in case for special emergencies but don't really want to do that. Any ideas peeps. I have a couple of mates with the same symptoms as well

Hi babes....im glad you said ur friends were going through the same thing or i would have marched you straight to the docs!

it sounds like sum kind of virus or nasty bug (there have been loads jus lately)

plenty of fresh fruit and health stuffs ie echinatia and spirulina to build your defence system up..........try getting some omega blend oil 3, 6, 9 works wonders for the ol imune system.....i have stayed plague free up to now!!!!!

mind you if sysmptoms get any worse i would go see the docs as u may need anti biotics.....!!!!!

Go see your GP m8, could be dietary related as you say - may be worth having a blood test if this happens regular, may be onset of Diabeties....

If it is not regular, then it could be just some strange viral infection that goes around, there is lots of strange viruses at the moment, spesh in London coz of all the 'visitors'

Hope it clears up soon m8

its now midday

and there is no change. I feel nauseous and dizzy now rather than hot. feel disorientated and have to go and fix someones machine and I don't feel like doing anything. My immune system is absolutely pants and I seem to feel crap most of the time. It's bizarre though cause yesterday I felt better than I have done in years.

Hmm, i get this abit, nausea n dizziness and a feeling of disoriention i'd defianlty drink plenty of water as it could be dehydration, also you may have vertigo, sounds daft but its quite a common thing! tbh though its more likely to be a viral infection, docs always say that!!

but am not far off the ground at the moment. The sensation I have at the moment is a bit like being in a bubble. Legs slightly rubber bandy. I don't feel quite inside my body fully really only about half way there. Kinda daydreamy but not nice daydreamy. Been speaking to miss tickle and I think it may be stress/anxiety. Think i need a holiday and a decent massage :)

Vertigo doesnt mean you have to be far of the ground! Although stress/anxiety could be it, i suffer from panic/anxeity disorder so that could be the cause of mine! :) Its not nice whatever the cause, feeling like your not in your body and you're all floaty and strange! Hope you get better soon!
