Just a short note to say hello to everyone on the forums.
I have been a dj for many years but at the moment I am not doing any djing work.
I played a mixtue of House, electro, garage and techno and got away with playing almost anything I wanted to.
my favourite tune is unfinished sympathy (nellee Hooper mix) by Massive attack.
I was a dj at the Vu-peak in Armadale (Scotland) that was when the dance scene was at its best in my opinion (early 90s).
I was also at the Venue II in Bathgate and Zen (now club earth in Livingston) on a Sunday night along with Tom Wilson (who was a really nice guy with a very dry sense of humour.)
hope to hear from some people that may know th clubs that I am talking about.

I visited many Scottish clubs back in the day, can't remember the vu-peak but I sorta recall the Zen and The Venue II - that was the one across the road and down a bit from the old Room at the Top wasn't it?
Met Tom a few times, i know what you mean. Soundest person i've ever known.

Anyway, get posting mate! Would love to hear about experiences from the old days and what tunes were/are your favourites.

Never made it to Scotland always to many good nights in Leeds/Hudds/Manchester...but thats what I enjoy listening to other peoples experiences if we all had same life would be dull...so post away.
