hi all
before i start i'll just say what a brilliant site this is, been browsing for a while but thought it was about time i joined up so here i am.
i'm steve but known as keezy to my mates, i'm 33 and from carlisle small city north west england, not scotland before anyone starts
i'm a 100% zone head and can't get enough of italian house piano and everything else that was ever played at the zone, favourite dj's were andy pendle, dave taylor, keith capstick, chris baker, the amazing mc irie & mc wizard. best days of my life which i can't let go of, reckon i'll still be pumping this shit out when i'm 65 haha. i've tried to get into other forms of music but it aint happening for me..still got loads of mixes from the zone aswell as about 500 12" tracks on mp3 and its all i listen to, also got about 50 mixes from wigan pier but its just not the same although i quite like a few of the remixes that were played at the zone. got a few bowlers mixes aswell but still prefer zone to them. living in carlisle back then was shite because we had no great clubs up here and always had to travel for a good night out apart from the odd time when zone went on the road and came to a club here called the pagoda which wasn't a bad club i suppose but nothing to what other cities had..plus the dj's were shit aswell...unless you wanted to listen to dj supreme's wildstyle 50 times a night haha.
so thats me keezy the zone head..
good to be here
