Hello. my name is Jeff. i started clubbing & raving in 1992 (that should roughly tell you that I am old..) i went to Savannah College of Art & Design in Georgia for Graphic Design but i got my underground start in Orlando Florida. i drove there almost every weekend from 1992 until 1995. i spent most of my latenights at Aahz! which was run by Kimball Collins, Dave Canalte & promoted by Stace Bass. after Aahz! closed down they reopend they started their Reunion parties. these nights were the most amazing and magical times i have ever had! the energy at these parties was fucking awesome (so was the e!) i saw Sasha & Digweed at their 1st Orlando appearance, Cosmic Baby live & Tony Di Bart sing "The real thing" live. The Renaissance party with S&D was one of the best nights of music EVER! i get goosebumps thinking about my many nights at Aahz! I spent a lot of nights in Orlando at the Edge, the Abyss, Barbarella's and Firestone. i could go on & on about my times there!the whole expierience changed my life. changed it for the better!

i can say that i am definitely Old Skool!

i have been DJing Chicago House across America for the the past 13 years under the name DJ Mezmer. I'm originally from Chicago. I now live in Charlotte, NC USA where i am an interactive media designer/graphic designer during the week. my weekends are for DJing & partying! i found this site during my many hours scouring the internet for OLD tunes that i have been seeking for 10+ years. i collect records & kidrobot dunnys (designer art toys). I am into lowbrow art, all types of design & the history of underground dance music. I have 2 purebred cats that i adore. Alderon is a bluepoint wedgehead Siamese & Bruiser is a Cornish Rex. Thats pretty much what i am into (i really love the ladies too!)

I hope to meet some cool people here to chat about the music that brings us all together! I am so glad that I found somewhere that us "old folks" can relate to. Currently, my website is under construction but it is still online. i have 15 of my mixes from the past 10 years available. every mix is top notch & i am sure you'll agree! if you love HOUSE music you will love my mixes!

Welcome Jeff! Nice to meet you, I lived in Orlando around the same time ('91-'98), and hit the same clubs often. Miss those days, some of the best times I've had.

Welcome aboard. Always nice to see another Aahz member. There must be 10 of us on here by now, which is saying something since most peeps here live in the UK. Anyways, catch Lippiattes Sunday morning sets 10-12:30 if you want to chat with some of the rest of us old Aahz heads.
