Its my bike gang before you say lol

I managed to snap the key in the lock last thurs, so the bike is now attached to this steel thing concreted in the floor so the only thing I can do is get the lock off somehow

Its one of those locks with plastic on the outside and really hard metal inside. Ive tried to get the key out with no avail, sprayed loads of oil in the lock but it wont budge, Ive smacked it on the floor loadsa times etc

Was thinking about getting some sort of power tool to cut the bastid off. Was thinkin about an angle grinder, they are like some mini circular saw, this might get thru it.

Anyhow any ideas peeps?

Yeah Im a nob ed for not looking after the lock and making it go rusty.:condom:

Ste is it a D Shaped Lock???

I used to work at halfords fella and seen this a few times lol.

Your best bet is to drill the key barrel which should release the mechanism.

If you spent loads on this lock it will be a fekker to open lol cause they are made to with stand the most distructive attempts at getting through em.

If you didnt spend loads you shouldnt have a problem.

Keep us posted anyways lol

nothing a half decent sized pair of bolt cutters or sommet similar wont fix.....

Bolt%20Cutters.jpg

dodgy shorts not inculded.....

Getting one for a few minutes is the tricky part.

lump hammer and masonary chisel? perhaps at the weakest spot?. not particulary something you take to work with you though. neither is a hacksaw. Ive used an angle grinder before now for my toolbox padlock, but I was in work at the time and one was handy. Watch your eyes though cos when them babies blow it will shit you up lol.

post on the chavscum forum, somebody there will be able to tell you Im quie sure!.

Been there done that lol

As Sirius said a lump hammer and chisel at the point where the lock and chain meet usually does the trick. If not last time i froze the lock barrel with a can of compressed air and smashed it with a centrepunch, just be careful you dont freeze ya hand to the can lol.

Good luck m8
