help needed please!!!

bit of an odd one this...but does anyone have any idea how many kilo's a 100 records weigh? sold a few job lots on ebay and need to check weight before i send via a courier.

Dunno mate, but vinyl often varies in thickness anyway.

Have you tried loading yourself up while standing on the bathroom scales, then deducting your weight from the total? That's what I usually do with my suitcases before going on holiday:thumbsup: :)

normally would do that but im at my shop where the records are. The maximum weight i can send is 30kg...im pretty sure 200 records wopuldnt weight more than that?!!?

i am going to have to say that 200 records will weigh more than 30 kg. probably closer to 45 kg. that's about 100 pounds and i'm pretty sure the average record weighs about 8 ounces. especially the cardboard sleeved ones.

I wrapped 120 records up on monday night and the post office wouldn't accept them Tuesday as they said they were too heavy.

I'm taking them to the other post office in about 2 hours so will let you know if they'll post them..
