As a few of ya might know Im a bit of a PC spaz :$

My girlfriend has just got the net - much to my delight :D

Anyways, Iv got it up n runnin but the display aint quite right and I cant work out how to solve it :(

Example: Here when Im on OSA all the background is just white :| , and the screen is just showing a smaller bit of it so Im constantly scrollin to see whats on the page

Also the cursor is just an annoying big black block... I know thats kinda oldskool but its doin me tree in! (You cant tell exactly where you are)

North West
go to your main desktop, (minimise all running programmes) then right click the mouse and select Properties then then the L.H.S tab (Settings), make sure resolution is at 800x600 or even better 1024x768

That should sort out the size of the pages on the screen.

hmm... weird sounding this...

is it only stuff in yer web browser where the display's humped?
if so, which browser you using?

it's not booting into "Safe Mode" is it?

bit of a longshot this, but if yer on a reasonable speed internet link, you might wanna try running windows update & installing any missing updates... I've known this to correct the odd problem from time to time... if it's not been run for a while this may take a long time to do though...
