I know i may sound stupid but i need help with the following,

Im thinking about uploading some of my mixes in the gold members mix section but i need some following advise.

Alot of mixes which i have done, i have put track markings in them as i was actually doing my mix. Do all mixes uploaded need to be one long mix i.e no track markings?

Is there any software on the net which can turn my mixes into one long file i.e take out track markings??? plus is there software which does the opposite, put track markings in the mix after it has been done.

Any help with the above would be much appreciated. cheers :)

if u get a program called Easy CD-DA Extractor ( i assume u have ya mix on a cd already ) you can then rip the cd as 1 file and also the program will make a cue file to go with it ( u will need to fill in the appropriate artist/track names ) and you could upload both the files and if people want to burn it the cue file will do all the track splittin on the cd without any glitches between the tracks it will sound jus like a mix cd from a shop..hope this helps ya out;) :p
or...you could get a program called Cue Master if you jus have mp3 file of your mix and you can write your own cue sheet to go with the mp3 file (tho you can easily create a cue file with notepad).

Sony Soundforge will do both of these for you, when you load a cd into your pc's tray all you have to do is click on 'file', click on 'extract audio from cd'
then it gives you an option of either extracting full disc or track by track :D

you can also record with it then put your track marks into your wav after you've recorded, this is what i use for recording all my sets and is very versatile

cheers,
