:S :S hi ppl.need sum advice.just wondering which r the better decks 1210s or 1200s. im going to buy some but need to know which ones r the best to use and whats the diiference.any help appreciated or ppl who have either or the above named decks plz help thanx alot.

to be honest....they are the same machine. at one time, the silver ones were for US, and the black ones were for UK.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANY CLAIMS THAT ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER!!!!



i only picked silver because that is the classic color....

Some peeps who use 1200's will argue that they are the better deck to mix with but ive had it on good authourity that they are the same in almost every way

Only difference is colour and where they were made.

I think a better question would be which are better : MK II's or MK III's. Personally, I like the MK III's because you can turn the quartz lock off and have a smooth pitch control. Sometimes that light and lock drive me crazy when I'm trying to beat match.

technics v ..........

I know Technics are good & had 'em me self for about 6/7 years , but then i tried a pair of STANTON STR8-150's and was just blown away by 'em, so it was bye bye technics!!!

The Stantons are 10 times as solid as technics, thier digital & the pitchers are unbelievable! No 'dip' whatsoever, move it to where you want & its there instantly, not like on a 1210 waiting for it to catch up or slow down, pushin' & shovin' ya record to compensate.

If you aint tried em yet, you need to!

I know it's TRADITIONAL to use Technics & they ARE good, but not even if the Stantons are BETTER decks???!! In my eyes thats just makin' life hard for ya sen

1200's are silver

I got my 1210's about 9 years ago and have never had one problem with them, well worth the ££££

We've got 1210's, there about 8 years old and are the dogs danglies! Noticed a HUGE difference between these and the numarks i had before.

I upgraded from my 1210s at the end of last year to 1200 mk5s,simply because the dip in the pitch slider got on my nerves so much (and because I wanted to go a bit old school Hip Hop with the Silver finish LOL!)
Never had any technical problems with my 1210's though, and they were about 9 years old!
