I've been a OSA radio listener for a while and finally decided to join.
My name's Incksy from the sunny North West and i've been into old skool house or house as it was called back then, since the early 90s when my older brother took me to Zone at Blackpool when I was a mere 15 and i was hooked.
I spent most 90s's weekends at Zone, Bowlers, Angels,
Ark, Maximes ect ( great days and nights )
90's Italian house and Piano still makes the hairs on the back of my neck today.
I sold my decks two years ago when my little lad was born and really regret it now he's older so am looking to repurchase.
I'm unsure as to whether to stick with vinyl or try a new Midi controller and Traktor and rip all my vinyl?
This is something i'm looking to discuss with you guys I know "real dj's" use vinyl but i really like the idea of using loops and effects to put a new spin on my old tunes.
Anyway thats me....no superstar dj I just love the music.
