Hi peeps, was signposted this place from a friend so have come to have a look.
I got into "rave" music in 1988 unfortunately i was only 13 but as i got into it thru my dad whos new work mate was putting on events i have lots of tapes from then that i listened to all the time. by 92 i was going out and kept going out into 99 i have loads of flyers from 88 - 97 and loads of tapes from this time too.
i started djing around 93 and have loads of hardcore from this era as that's what i was into at the time and have loads of funky house from 97 -00 too
i would like to put my tapes out there are loads of one off's i got from the guy running the night. i have a few from hardcore FM fantasy FM and SCR pirate radio sheffield that probably not documented unless people made tapes
any help on how to transfer this stuff would be great, i will upload them on to my PC as and when as it is quite time consuming
