Hello everyone,
Just a quick introduction, i used to DJ in the early 90's, around the North East, mainly played in the local clubs, but did play at the Rezerection a few times when it was at the Mayfair in Newcastle and also the all nighters in Scotland, I then moved to Holland and played a few clubs over there but then packed it in about '97. I have been asked to play at a Old School re-union night at a club in South Shields with a few other Djs who used to play at the same time, K-Klass are headlining, with Mike Joyce (The Smiths Drummer) playing in another room, and since I havent played for 12 -13 years i have been looking for inspiration and trying to remember all the records I used to play, and luckily I found this site, have to say it is amazing, all the old tunes have been coming back to me when Ive been looking through the tracklists, managed to get a loan of a set of Technics, and I've got the bug again, just spent about £200 on some classic records, trying to get a set sorted at the minute, might post the mix up somewhere, once I get my skillz back, lol
