i couldnt agree more

we had it all when sarah payne was murdered and now it has happened again.

we should all have the right to know which sex offenders are living in our own neighbourhoods i have a 3 yr old daughter and i would never be able to let her out of my sight or when she is older to even let her walk to school on her own.

this country is full of too many do-gooders that think they can be rehabilitated which is a load of b****cks once someone has a taste for something no amount of rehabilitation is going to stop them.

which in my opinion is why they should bring back the death penalty for crimes as serious as this i would gladly pull the switch on an electric chair for whoever has done this.

i'm sorry if your opinion differs from mine but it just makes me sick that i could be walking past someone in the street that has these tendancies

God Bless Sarah Payne & Holly & Jessica.

i agree with everything said, and it is worrying that there isn't really anything being done about it...well nothing that a big percentage of the country would be happy about:( :(

in our local newspaper this week there was an article about a bloke who is known to abouse children...anyway they had managed to track him down weeks after he moved house without telling the police...they should be permanantly tagged i think!!

surely something has got to change soon????

god bless to holly and jessica xxx

Damn right - I can't understand how someones head can get to a state where messing with children is fine

I have kids and it makes me sick just thinking that one of these peoples was even looking at them

However - the problem with letting the public know where they live is that the offenders would be pressured to get out of the area-thus going underground - as it stands at the moment they have to register with the police and thus they know where they live- that means when a crime does happen the police have informaition on who is the area and obviously this helps them greatly with their investigations- therefore if the public did know where these people lived - they would all change areas and chances are that you would still have one living in your street - however WE would not no that they were offenders and the POLICE would not know - making there investigations a lot harder

I am not being liberal here as I agree with the posts above - these people are sick in the head and their thought process is on a different level to ours - i think that they should all at least be locked away for life

Back oop north!
www.
The bloke who's been arrested was in all the papers last week as the last person to see them alive. He came forward to the police to say he'd seen them and to offer his support to the family in finding them ....WTF????????  Sick puppy is all I can say :(:(

The 'powers that be' did implement some of the aspects of Sarah's Law last year I think but decided agains the whole thing as they thought they knew best. I read in the papaer to day that there are appro 18,000 people in the register atm but as it only goes backa few years, people who were conviced prior to that aren't on the register. They think the actual number of sex offenders in this country is more like 110,000 !!!!

That's a scary statistic :(:(

Crimes against kids and rape should carry the death penalty IMO. There's no excuse.

Murder I can agree with locking them up for life as there can be what's termed as "crimes of passion" as in not pre-meditated ones and it would be too hard for the justice system to define the difference when sentencing people (imo) so leave them to rot in jail .....crimes against kids and rape tho have no excuse whatsoever.

I havent got an awfl lot more to say than I have said on another post as it is a sickening, sad and vile crime.

The problem with bringing back the death sentence is its too easy, however long term imprisonment gives the majority of these people a more comfortable lifestyle than they would lead in the outside world.

Something needs to be done, and anybody who halts or holds up an possible resolution to this sort of thing needs action taking against them

Very sad.

I agree with Pacman, the death sentance is to easy for people like them.

They should be locked in a room with the girls family and friends and tortured then left to rot. But as we all know they will be put in prision and have access to tv, internet, learn a new skill, have counselling and be fed and watered 3 times a day - British justice you can't beat it can you.....

Those girls trusted and liked Maxine and she betrayed that trust in the worst possible way as did her boyfriend. They are pure evil.

I remember my childhood, I used to go off and play for hours with my friends, go on bike rides without fear. Now children don't have
a childhood as such cos of all the dickheads and perverts.

I cannot begin to understand how the families must be feeling but my thoughts are with them.

I hope Holly and Jessica have gone to a better place and are together xxx

My deepest sympathies go out to Holly and Jessica's family and friends...
I cant say more really to what has been said, these people should have labotomys or something ,they disgust me and they dont deserve to call themselves human beings.
Definately bring back the death sentence I think....
