I read in the papaer to day that there are appro 18,000 people in the register atm but as it only goes backa few years, people who were conviced prior to that aren't on the register. There's no excuse.</p><p></p><p>Murder I can agree with locking them up for life as there can be what's termed as "crimes of passion" as in not pre-meditated ones and it would be too hard for the justice system to define the difference when sentencing people (imo) so leave them to rot in jail .....crimes against kids and rape tho have no excuse whatsoever.</p></blockquote><p></p>
