Anyone else just want to eat casseroles and general hot food in this weather. All i want is something that i can dip bread into and the butter will melt.

Tomoz i am going to do beef cass, the day after corned beef hash, the day after Coq Au Van (sp?)! Whats your body warming tea then?- (obv Pauly P will not reply to this).

I love autumn:love:

Mmmm you cant beat good old fashioned wintery comfort food

beef stew and dumplings, roast chicken dinners, shepherds pie, spag bol, faggots chips n peas, bangers n mash, lasagne, honey & mustard chicken and rice, roasted winter veggies, nice soups, etc... yum yum yum :icecream:

just not too keen on the autumn / winter part :ba: lol

used to love having the annual family fireworks / bonfire night
at my Grandads when we were younger  with a hot buffet type thingy to accompany it... homemade soups, pans of stew, hot dogs, baked potatoes etc... :icecream:

and Woody ~ good call for tomorrows dinner :king:(DINNER) ;)
amazing that we're not sick of it yet :D
I know I will never get sick of anything Yorkshire pudding related though, its the food of the Gods

Use shin beef, nothing else is as good! Its the cheapest cut, but by far the best for this kinda thang. All i use is this, onions, carrots, spuds, red wine and seasoned flour! Erm, and butter and water actually, a few bayleafs, and a little beef stock. Still, its very easy.
