I know its a bit daft, but i am fine around gay men, but for some reason i am quite uncomfortable around gay females. Not all i should add, in partic the ones who live a few doors down (for some reason our village is a lesbos haven). They were just chatting to me then about the garden i have just landscaped (check green fingers bad ass bitch moi out), and depite the fact they were asking me what plant was what, i got a sneaky suss they were really having some erotic bean flicking menage a toi thoughts running through their bonses. So then i goes all red, plus their dog is of crotch sniffing kind, which was making the whole thing more embarassing. Its silly really, because as if i think an random straight bloke fancies me, its just the same.

Nowt odd about that whatso I'd say...
Plenty of peeps feel uncomfortable if they suspect they're being "weighed up" regardless of who's doing the weighing.

I should know, I just did 18 months for it ;)

Im fine around both! Have a good number of gay friends both men and women........i used to work down at the club with my mum on sunday nights which was gay night........one of the bar ladys took a shine to me and told me she could eat me up  :$ didnt bother me as long as thats how it stayed  any attempt to touch me up or such like and i wouldnt have been happy :naughty: but she didnt....she knew i was straight and left it at that

Tbh honest though...if i see two men on telly getting a bit comfy with each other...i dont bother......but two women...i dont wanna see thanks :p :naughty:

I find lesbians very hard in general cus they are very clicky however i could spend loadsa time in a gay blokes company without getting bored

I'm fine with lesbo's, but I think it depends on the person if we're talking gay men.

If they keep themselves to themselves and don't kiss in front of me then i'll probably be cool with them, but I can think of 4 instances were I haven't been cool with them, like getting my arse mauled when taking a piss in a pub in Windsor by a Donald sutherland lookalike while he was licking his top lip. Or a man following me and weighing me up in Kendals when I was buying some clothes.

I wouldn't drink in a gay bar though - unless I had my mates around in case I get rohynoled and bummed by a frisky fag :naughty:

I cant say I frequent gay bars, lol, but I do have a female friend who is bisexual, and a male friend/aquiantance who is bisexual. I cant say it bothers me as much as some other things, infact Ive never even thought about it.

I dont like anyone touching me without my permission/consent, and yes, I would feel a bit miffed if anyone violated my surrounding space by touching my face or whatever, but Id get over it lol.

I suppose in some ways id find it flattering that I was being thought about LOL, as long as it only stays in thier minds I dont care hahahaha.

I am uncomfortable when Im in the presence of totally over the top gay people, much like the camp coronation street character, and that guy of big brother who walked out. Not because they are gay, but because they are so god damn annoying with it!!. LOL.

I used to be quite homophobic. Not nastily, like my peers of "queer bashers"; just I never made friends with gay people. And felt uncomfortable when I was in the company of others. It took me until last year to be dragged in to the gay village, even though my uni was on the other side of Canal Street.
However times have chilled me a lot, I now have the odd couple of gay and bi friends in each sex.
I think its the "office" environment thats done it. That or the poppers :fekked: :D

Chompin on biccie's.. *beep*;)
I work with a lesbian and i mean she's butch as hell with spikey hair and also grunts  (well she looks like she should :| )
Shes always talks about her sex life with her 'wife' as she says and she also goes on all the time saying that she can turn straight woman :S and has about 10 girls on the go. :S
she has particular middle aged woman come into the shop giving her little gift cards (the ones with sayings on them) who is surpose to have a husband and two kids but wants to be with her, they go round the corner of the shop to have there little chats. :naughty:
she has another woman about her own age who comes in and when she does she rushes over to her to give her a massage.

It does make me abit uncomfy when she tells me constantly that she turns staight woman but i tend to change the subject then talk about how much i love chris. lololol. :D
I mean come on if i was ever gonna swing the other way she'd be the last bleeding girl id look at at YAKKKK!!! :S :S :S :naughty:

ive got some gay friends and it really doesnt bother me.

However I have been put in a couple of very awkward situations by gay men, both times on holiday, and it made me feel really really sick not something i wish to go through again!

That's exactly how i feel, i hate being touched by anyone without my permission, gay, straight, male, female, cat, dog....................

Two of my best friends are lesers and i don't get offended when they grab me or owt and i feel 100% comfortable with them and i also have a gay male friend who i feel totally comfortable around but he isn't overly camp or anything, infact most people that know him don't even know that he is gay.

It makes me laugh the way that alot of blokes react to gay men, like proper hanging straight men who would not be able to entice a woman into bed with all the diamonds in Africa yet put them in the company of gay men and they suddenly think they've somehow gotta protect their arse!!!!! Get a grip!!!!:D

Absolutely - people are people regardless of sexual preference, religion, colour, age etc etc Basically it would boil down to whether I found a connection with & felt comfortable with the person in question.. irrespective of all other criteria...

You can take a look at my cd collection; Pet Shop Boys, George Michael, Queen..... they're all bummers ;)

I once read a piece written by a rentboy in one of the broadsheets a few years back, that gave an insiders account of gay men and the bars they frequent and it isn't quite the picture you're portraying - where they're as fussy as most women. It seemed (from the story at least) that gay men do plenty of shagging with as many people as are available, which is pretty much what the average man would do.

Maybe that's just the area he lived in and the people he associated himself with, but it seems plausible.

I think a few are missing the point, this is not an anti-gay stance, it was directed more at the problems we have with gay people that come from within. Sota a sub concious problem.
