I cry all the time :$ Not coz I'm sad or down - it's just overwhelming feelings I get like when I hear a certain piece of music or certain bits in a film or seeing someone go over to their Mum n telling them they love em n that. I am very emotional me... n I do love being this way.... good or bad... just so long as it's strong... Nowt worse than apathy or indifference....

I've always had mad urges to phone people up n rave on about the fact that moon is hoooowge n beautiful outside my window or during a mad thunderstrom or like today when I came out of work n passed a bit of the site where it was covered in blossom n there were baby cygnets with their Mum playin by rabbits lol

I feel sometimes like I'm looking at the world thru the eyes of a 2 year old - everything is exciting to me...

I'm weird lol :$

Anyway I've meandered enough... as you were :D

here here mate im just like u

last time i cried was only a week ago
when mum told me grandma n grandad would have been proud of me
i was in floods for a short while

i was taught that its good to cry and there is no shame

i allways phone people when i see big moons (not your arse shooms) etc

Last time i shed a tear was saturday day, i very nearly fainted whilst i was in hospital. I only cried because i didnt want to faint infront of my daughter.

Apart from that, im not to sure when i last cried. I remember being rather pissed up a few months ago and kinda crying, haha!! :$

I do believe a good cry every few months is very good for ya, well for us women anyway, sometimes (like you said amelie) you have built up tension/stress and feelings and the best way to release those feelings i think is to have a bit of a cry. Then its hey hoe back to normal again. :D

I hardly cry anymore though, which is ace...im rather happy with how things are now so ive no reason to cry. :D

Having said that, the odd tune can bring a tiny tear to me eye, Rob D - Clubbed to death does that for instance. I think its a very powerful tune, love it!!

Does anyone else think crying from time to time is theraputic, or am i mad as a bag of spiders:cops: .

:)

Crying is the best therapy...FACT!!! I can't remember the last time I cried...about 4/5 months ago to be honest! I've had nothing to cry about!! But when I can feel the chunks rise...and I'm in an inapropriate place...I'll wait till in my own company/with a good friend and ball my eyes out...till there's no tears left. And how much better do i feel A.L.O.T! All the raw emotion is gone...you're calmer, and better to deal with whatever it is that made you cry...

I have cried through happiness recently though...just walking somewhere, listening to a tune on my walkman...I just started crying!!! I could not contain it! Everything was so ace...!!!   Just a release of the pressure really!

Crying is like a ketle on the stove, the pressure builds till the whistle pops off, and the pressure subsides...It's good, everyone should do it!

I never really used to relate to people who cried at weddings, I used to find it a bit odd in fact, but I suppose I always used to attribute it to the romance aspect that was setting them off  This may be right in some cases but now I also know its not just that. Well for me, anyway. Ive got a bit teary at a few weddings ive been to in the last few years (see, told you I was getting softer in my old age.. ) ;) :p It was just the emotion of it being fantastic people I care about so much , and seeing them looking gorgeous and so so happy together that set me off rather than the luvvy duvvy stuff
When my best mate from school got hitched there was also the aspect of "aww , look at all we've been through growing up and look at you now - finding someone so lovely and right for you" kinda bursting with pride and so chuffed for her.
If that makes sense..... :D

I tell you another thing that absolutely kills me... Goodbyes.
I'm awful with them. Major lump in the throat style :S Im talking obviously if someones leaving for good / long term / moving miles and miles away and its unlikely you'll see them again, not just if theyre nipping down the shop or summat, lol :p :D I cant help it! Its a case of I'm gonna miss them like hell and theres nothing wrong with them knowing it:(

I cried on tuesday night, my 16 month old daughter collapsed and stopped breathing, we had to turn her upside down and hit her on her back to clear her throat, she went white and her lips were turning blue. Luckily a friend next door saw us as we were at the front of the house and she was calm, unlike me n r lass who were just panicking. She was sick then started breathing, the ambulance came 10 mins later and we spent the night in hospital. Shes fine now:) , she`s had a virus along with a cough and a cold and it made her do it.

Before that it was when i went to the bog int middle of t night and stubbed me toe ont door, well painfull.

i cry more when im angry which is really weird and i get this really big red patch in the middle of my forehead when i do  :$

since ive been a mum and been married (and divorced) it has made me a right sloppy sod, slightest little thing on tv about poorly kids, my kids falling over and cutting themselves or peeps getting married im a jibbering wreck in the corner!!!

Last time i had a really gud blow out was when i found out my cervical cancer hadn't been fully eradicated, so had to go through all the treatment again. only minor in relative terms but shook me for six.
