Make sure the decks are earthed to the mixer and your mixer should earth to the neutral built into the mixer. Regarding yourself, try mixing in bare feet and ensure your slipmats are good quality as cheap ones can cause some static.Vinyl will always have a little static (unless you have a static zapper) which removes static from the record itself....not needed for mixing and only hifi people tend to use them.Best of luck on the decks, you will get much more satisfaction from them than the cdj'sS</blockquote>
