I have an HP pavilion zv6000 and its red hot and sounds like the fan is doing overtime. I presume the fan is broke but does anyone have any ideas before I take it to the doctors:S

sounds to me like the fan is on for a reason m8 
is the laptop runnin slow??? may be the processor is on its way out and its getting too hot,, this will make the fan go overtime other stuff to check is air vents blocked wiv dust this can cause it to get too hot. Ive also had a fan not spinning coz its lose on the spindle but that made a squeekin sound so rekon thats ok. Thats all i can think off bud but then im no expert :S lol

sorted now cheers dan. Simplecast had not shut down properly from last night for some reason, had the fan runnin red hot tryin to close it down
