I hate having things for people and not giving then straight away! Right now there are a few things wrapped under the tree for my wonderful (magical lol) husband (who is letting me get chinese for tea again:p ) and i want him to open them now!

I remember having a row a few years ago over a birthday pressie that i wanted him to open before the big day lol. We were driving round at the time and i just stopped in the middle of the road and refused to move until he opened it.

I just can't stand knowing something is there thats going to make someone happy- and not doing it right away! Its the same with suprises- i just can't keep my gob shut.

same here. How about a sticky thread for ideas on what to get partners / parents ? :D

Well we are doing charity donations this year- which i know is good and all lol- but i dunno- i quite like giving things to people.

A good one for parents is perhaps a hamper for a good local supermarket like Booths. Full of crazy shit like Gentlemans relish and pickled walnuts- all the wierd crap they like. Or a cookery course/meal out voucher for somewhere nice.

I'm the same... I get as much (if not more) pleasure & excitement than the recipient :)

I love giving pressies & putting thought in to em :)

It's got me in trouble before :$

I love it like mad! Which is just as well as i am getting my own as well this year lol.

Come on then- what trouble?

Random unsolicited acts of thoughtfulness to an ex that were returned to sender when I pouted that they weren't opened up quick enough.... (ie. or picked up from the post office over a week of being sent) :$

I learnt eventually.... mainly from this man

"Have no you pride Mark ?? Pick yourself up off the floor & be a man... tell her to piss off"

Wise words indeed.

Thanks mate:thumbsup: :D

It's the busiest posting week of the year though, so it's in the post offices hands when it's gonna be delivered:S

I'll have to find a pressie for your good self too, Amelie :king:
