I just can't stand the excitment!

All this Christmas malarky is driving me mad, i can't stand having so many gifts for people lol. Before i had to sit in the car with Jonnolad for an hour, with a great book i had bought him on the back seat. It was killing me so i had to force him to open it early, even though he didn't want to. I just can't wait, all the anticipation is making me ill. I am not bothered about mine, i just want to see my family when they get all there ace stuff.

Does anyone else find it hard to keep presants they have bought a secret?

Just bring on the bloody 25th!

Also, whats everyone eating on christmas day- we are going for goose. Any recommended cooking methods greatly appreciated.

I no the feeling hun, I love seeing peoples faces when they open there presents, even more so if it's something they have wanted for a very long time. I think on one occasion I nearly opened the pressie for gordon as he was opening it to slow :S .

xmas just pisses me off, too much hassel, too much bustle, far too fucking expensive and far to commercialised for what it really is.

Its no longer about the birth of christ, its all about who gets the best games console and best games now adays and people follow the comercial bullshit thrown down there necks every year on the telly, a lot even get themselves in debt for it as well.

Anyone who takes out a loan for xmas that cannot pay it off within a year is fucking loop the loop! whats going to happen next xmas? another loan?

And i dont like snow either, its cold and gets wet, and ice makes the car slide, although I like this bit if the heaters have warmed up enough

I'd rather give sod all and receive sod all, i've got enough socks anyway to last me a year

i love xmas its a special time to be with loved ones, tis just sad when some of them arnt there, always say a wish for them tho..

the presents thing excites me coz its ace knowing what uve got for someone and hopefully how much they will smile when they open them!

tho i try not to buy into the whole commercial thing too much, i made all my cards this year, and only gave them to people i really wanted to give to, so it was special, and today im going to make some special chocolate truffles to give to my loved ones
homemade things are always far nicer

my son is so excited bless him he was actually sick last night! cant wait to see his face on xmas day
tho unfortunately i dont get to wake up with him this year as he is spending xmas eve and most of xmas day with his dad for the first time ever... (it will be really hard for me, but he is so excited bless him and so is his dad, im really happy for them both )

as for food - umm well im not sure what im having coz i aint doing the dinner this year.. but hopefully it will be gorgeous veg for me
