Sorry to spoil your day chaps, but this is a re-press of the original test pressing. I know this because I am good friends with the 2 people behind the shaker song/Playtime choons

The two people in question are called Trevor Fung & John Smart, they only pressed 20 copies of the original test pressing of this tune, and they have hand writen labbles on them, they still have 19 copys, and I am the only person who has a copy other than them.

The tracks listed in Al's posts are indeed the same tracks that are on the test pressing, but these copys must be bootlegs of the test pressings

Hmm, I dont know about it being a repress or a bootleg, more of a 'DJ' promo for want of a better word!! Test pressings are always in very limited amounts, before it is decided to do a full promotion.
Im pretty certain my copy is no bootleg! If there's only 20 copies of the tune, and T Fung has 19 copies and you have one, that means you must be the bootlegger, or you've allowed some1 to bootleg your copy!! Coz I doubt T Fung would let any1 bootleg his tune!!
Just one more thing, wasnt Shaker song/rollin rock done by Mancs???? Correct me on my last statement if Im wrong!!

This was Trevor Fung? Well surprised at that, one of the tunes definitely doesn't seem like the sort of tune he'd of made at that time. He's pretty legendary in my part of the world for his efforts at Caister Soul Weekend. Listened to his mix of Bluejean earlier today, still a peach tune that one. What's he up to these days? As one of the first, if not the first DJ's to push house music he doesn't seem to get the same ammount of kudos as Runny Dumpling and the like. Haven't seen him for about 10 years or so when he was supposed to play at the same night as me, he broke down en route and turned up just as it was about to finish.

This is beffo a copy of the test pressing Biskit, I know Trevor has lent this tune out a few time now to be remixed and copied, He lent a copy to Norman Cook two years back now, and Norman released a remix of Playtime Choons last August

I will check out with him when I see him next, what the story is behind this one m8

Wildpitch fella, if you wanna catch up with Trevor, he is playing at the Bug Bar in Brixton every other Thursday, doing a latin Brazil thing called Ground level. No hope's on booking him for an Old Skool set though....I tried before and he just wont play it anymore, he is much more into the latin bar sound these days
