seems to be a bit of a theme...

But back to the days when jacks were decent... when people were buzzing rather than mashed up... for me: the first orbital raves round London, I was just a little too young to get away with going to them, all I had were the pirate stations and local record shops. :(

Then again, made up for it later on ;)

It's a tough one alright :S

Back to the time of Christ seems like a good one.

Music wise, i'd go back to best night i've ever had at the Pleasuredome (early '92). Proper dark, dubbed out, house music and hook up a recording device to the sound system

Or maybe i'd go furthur back in time and invent beat mixing, scratching and house music in the same weekend lol. :)

I'd deffo go back to when all the free warehouse raves and illegal partys were happening and :fekked: and music was at its best  Was too young the first time round :(
I'd also go back to the Drome in Birkenhead 95 when I was first sneaked out to clubs and I was a happy hardcore raver :$ ..used to go out on £5 and walk home  ..them were the days :D
Also I'd go back to when Colin Farrell was a boyzone wannabe and get me claws into him before he got all sexy and rich ;)

Id go to any period before the mid 1950's, get myself a heavy bout of amnesia at whats happened since, and stay there in blissfull ignorance of what now resembles England to live all happy and fulfilled, or make prophesies (and assasinations) that change the course of the future (the present) ;) . LOL

Or perhaps go into the future and put my mind at rest either way to the outcome, the not knowing how things end up after Im pushing daisies is frustrating.

Music wise, I dont think I would go anywhere. Im not the same person I was in 91, and I doubt I could enjoy the same feelings and the music the same knowing what I know now and where music goes, the excitement wouldnt be there, you know what I mean? lol.

Id like to see the old PA's and Raves though, it must be said.

Id also like to see the future, the technology, the gadgets, whether robots will finally do all your household chores like they have been promising since the 60's LOL. If you told somebody in the 1970's that you could use a phone you kept in your pocket, and not only that, but you could take pictures and moving pictures with it, and ring the other side of the world on it, they would have thought youd have been watching too much star trek, so what it will be like in even 60 years would be very interesting. Providing we are still in existance of course, and that we are free/allowed to advance science and technology and that there are some "free thinkers" left.

predictable is one word for it....i like to see how you can fit it into a seemingly off topic post..and you always come up trumps

i like the idea of going back to the start of everything, cool idea..might explain a lot..but besides that i think i'd go forward..we've only been around a few thousand years but there could be millions in front of us..

apart from puttin it next to my arm chair so i didn't have to walk all the way up stairs for a piss errrm......... i'd probably go to instanbull over and over and over again. the 1966 world cup final would be good too, would probably be the only time you'd ever see england lift the world cup hehe

ya could turn up on the moon to see neil armstrong set foot on there for the first time. woodstock would be cool too, or to get a taste of the acid house era first time around. the possibilities are endless.

i dunno if I'd like to go into the future, I'd be scared to see the way the world went. I'm not sure it'd be pretty

. Yeah, quite sure....... and where did you find that picture of me?

That is my green Teddy Boy suit I bought in Brighton at a Doo-Wop reunion event, the purple with light blue silk top pocket jacket was looking a bit tatty so I decided to treat myself to this lovely green number.

The only trouble is my hair. Through worries and woe of certain things its getting thinner and falling out (coping with the complexities of situations) and I cannot simply bryl cream my hair to a full beufont quiff like I used to, so unfortunately I have to resort to a wig these days. :(

Doesnt stop me doo-wopping though. Thats the main thing. My fingers have never been the same since the doo-wop reunion marathon of 1994, where I was clicking my fingers in harmony for a solid 35 hours:eek: . Now even you have to agree thats quite an achievement!.

Id appreciate that my photo (above) is taken down, not many people know what I look like and Id like to keep it that way for my own safety  .

Cheers,

Sirius.

I'd firstly go back to when it was just Adam and Eve and shark in first with her. Spiely propagates the entire human race lol madness:)
Then stop of for a Roman Orgy. Then a record buying frenzy 88-92 to pick up all those now hard to get tunes. Back then to 1912 and the Merck laboratories to witness the creation of Ecstasy. Big bag of said stuff and off to Ibizia 1987. Quick stop then to watch myself been born which would be pretty surreal (definately pass on the conception  though)
Then somehow learn how to mix and get a warm up spot at Shelleys 91. I would play the exact same set that i now know Sasha would be playing that night to really throw him off lol.
Then (as mentioned earlier) back 2000 years to pick Jesus and his disiples up (and jezebel :eyebrow: ) and take them for a night out circa 1990.
"Who you out with tonight spiely,.. oh Jesus and his disiples.
Convince Jesus to replace wine at communion for a pill for all the congregation. Church attendences would be phenominal and sermons far more enjoyable, especially when the choir kicks in with a gospel version of JJ Tribute which i would have released whenever the piano was invented. OK think my weekends running out so finally i would stop off at the 1975 European Cup Final which Leeds would now win as i would have bribed the ref' before Bayern Munich did. Then back to the present and a few beers in the pub on the Sunday night (with jezebel) contemplating how i have singlehandidly fecked up the whole space-time continum

I think being around during caveman times (i am sure there is a more scientific sounding term for this :$ ) just for a day or so would rock. A time were men were men and women were women lol. I think it would be quite exiting to wait for your bloke to come home with some wild boar over his arm and you have to rustle up something delish with it. Also, there is a little Ray Mears style challege going on with the making of a comfy bed, or just generlly getting a fire going. I could only hack this for a few days i reck though.

The Victorian times seem quite exiting too, of course in this scenario i would like to belong to a middle class family. I loved the clothes the women wore then, and i don't think there is enough corsetry in today's fashion :| . How ace would it be to wear attire that required you to have people to help you get into it? Lol when i was a kid i used to like pretending i was living in the Victorian era, and i used read by candlelight. Always was a strange child according to my mother.

:)

You are going to have a ball at Jonno's then, he lives his life like it were the last day's of Rome. Once he even declared that as he had so much good food in the fridge, he might make himself sick after tea to fit it all in!

As for the orgy, i am afraid its just you two and the cat. But the Romans were known for not giving a shit so anything goes!

:)
