In a pickle ?

Reeeeeto... So i'm thinkin the other day shall i flog some if me vinyl and get enough money together 2 buy a cd deck? (I'm sure a few of u lot have been in this situation) Anyway 2 cut a long story short Alexbennett talked me out of it, What was i thinkin :| So i'm gonna save up 2 get 1 but i dont want anything mega fancy just something that will do the job in me Deckroom, what i was after from u lot if u would b so kind was a bit of a rundown on the whole Technics, Pioneer, Denon or anyother deck u can think of sketch???? Thankin u in advance, Benjamin

if i was on a budjet i'd go for a cdj800
there pretty similar to the cdj1000 but just under £300 cheaper for me i'd choose pioneer everytime

the only ones to avoid from what i've heard are the technics apparently there total crap but i've never been on them

I'd avoid the Vestax decks as mine is unusable for mixing as it seems to have a buffering problem that makes it stutter and the firmware is nigh on impossible to upgrade even though i've tried using different blanks disks and followed the instructions to the letter:S

Their customer services is shite too - as in impossible to get through too

Don't rule out the Denon models. The S3000 is a couple years old now and can be had at a discount due to the newer S3500 coming out. I've got one and am well happy with it. The spinning platter is kinda nice to have.

the technics might look nice but there supposed to be crap
i've heard really bad things about them there to be avoided like the plague apparently but i've never had a blast on them myself
also the pioneers are industry standard so if you ever play in clubs you wont have to worry about using a machine you dont know
