Including travel - how many hours a day are you away from home through work

Always too many jim lol.....im currently starting my campain against the department......
As you know last year i was told there is no job for me and i was declared surplus to requirments...its now been ten months and i am still in the same boat.....unfortunately i lost my tda last month which is allowance for working in the higher grade so i am now struggling financially coming to and from Preston every day to a job i no longer have.
Im having car trouble at the moment which has sparked all this off really....as if i suspect what is wrong with the car is true then i can not afford to have the car fixed .... This means ill be expected to get two buses and a train to work every day there and back with a two hour (four hour return) journey.....this is unacceptable for me but no one is willing to help.
So i find myself here fighting the system........AGAIN!
Youd think by now theyd realise that there are no jobs to redeploy me to and give me the redundancy package i want!

I work from home most days so question sort of works against me. How many hours do I work a week....up to 60 but normally over 50. I leave 7am ish and finish 5.30/6pm and work a few hours most weekends.
I like my job even though its tiring and doesnt leave much time for music at the moment.

I work about 2mins away from my house now. Its actually closer to go home for lunch than it is to the pub or shop

In by 9, leave typically 6.30pm... I can work from home if needed (Monday's are back to back calls so I have done today).
I'm the delegated boss man while my manager is away so I try not to work at home too much... except that every other fucker has decided to take full advantage of the fact that he's away & are all 'WAH'

mine varies cos i work flexible hours but i'd say an average day would be 8.45 till about 6.00
having said that today i left the house at 9.40 and was home again at 5.30, so now i probs won't be home till 6.30 for the rest of the week cos i got a bit of time to make up, but at least i have the option of putting in a short day if i'm a bit hung over or sommat, like today lol
