Has anybody used their iPad for djing or playing about. Going abroad and a friend is throwing a small party and thought I would volunteer a musical education whilst quaffing champagne.

Which app are you going to use Siman? The djay app by algoriddim is probably the best one. It works pretty well, probably not great for scratching though! But everything else works fine. Its great fun and very good considering the ridiculously cheap price, and its capable of knocking out a half decent set. . . Oh, and make sure you have your charger ready because it will seriously drain your Ipad battery!

As Howy says, it's great and I play out with it in a bar. It's perfect for a portable solution.
Make sure you get one of these,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Griffin-Cab...AWOU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1358579287&sr=8-1
It splits the signal (half to master out & half to headphones), so that you can cue.It just means the signal is slightly lower to master, but you can mess about in the settings to boost it back up.
I thought that about the scratching & then saw this....
