Lol that sounds really shit though to be fair. I am playing Wurzel here and putting on my Delia head but fuck me, i just can't picture the finished dish. Is it like a veg meaty omelette? Potato cakes with gravy and a side of carrots?

Maybe its a blind scouse with an omelette side dish???:|I think that what he's trying to do is brilliant. Anything you can do to improve peoples lives and give them something to feel good about..
I do think that fresh fruit & veg is expensive.. granted, like radish said, not if you're going to buy a bundle of crisps & chocolate instead, but the cost of making say a decent salad over a 49p packet of supernoodles for dinner is painful...this was a constant annoyance at uni..on top of the fact that fresh stuff goes off so quickly so if you don't eat it in time you've wasted your money..it is much harder on a budget and you can't buy nice fruit like any types of berry.
The only thing I can think of thats really cheap is carrots! I guess it depends where you shop though.
