There's deffo a gap in the market though for a singles -"meet the partner of yr dreams" things on Valentines night.......... basically if it's Valentines & you see a couple of girls in the pub that's a 100% cert that they are single innit........

As a guy at work said today - "it used to be just a card once of a day, if she was lucky. Now if you dont get her a card, flowers and a cuddly toy you can expect the Wayne Bobbit treatment when u go home. I mean what a load of old bollox, if your in a serious relationship and you need to buy this stuff then your're either on the rocks or your with the wrong person". Fairy Nuff.
Bet he got his wife the full card, prezzie, roses on the quiet....

Hmmm you lot are all a tad confused about this whole Valentines bussiness I think.
I spent 160 notes on a huge hand painted free standing mirror for my regular.
I also sent 3 dozen roses to 3 different Spanish addresses and a gold chain and a card to a Manchester address.
So...seems like Ive gone soft huh ? Well NO not at all I like valentines day it means I get a full year round guarantee of the necessaries in a total of 4 different towns in 2 different countries.....and thats without mentioning a nice bedtime mannerism from the regular...innit.
Take it from me...girls are one of lifes true pleasures...AND before the ladies go silly saying Im a sexist pig. I want you to know I love you all equally and I honestly believe that you all should play the "man game" exactly the same way..Im all for equality.
Now go ahead and FLAME ME

Hehehe...years of living at large in Manchester paid off when I moved out here to Spain and set up a PC Store. I aint that wadded u know Jayne but I dont spend half as much as I used to on going out on the beer and the "you know whats" so I tend to find it easier to save nowadays.

i bought 2 cards this year...1 was for my son, they were ordinary sized cards and it cost over 6 squid...could ave done a blue peter special for less!!!!!!
my cousin used to work at a florist and said they doulbe/triple the price of the flowers the week b4 valentines day
enough of that anyhow b4 i get 2 serious and trash my day...
