[QUOTE="Amelie, post: 581290, member: 1287"] As the first parra seems somewhat a conclusion of us agreeing, i shall leave it there. Re: Footy- eh? You have lost me. I know i am thick as pigshit (and as the mighty Sash suggests teamed with saggy tits and a nasherless gob- go on, visulaise it lol, i dare ya's, infact double dare you!) but you can't suggest that just cos a footy team you support are as bitter as a pack of Tesco Disco Metro value lemons then all who pay homage to the past are the same? Lol, i happen to be part of a rather established synchonized swimming team that are actully quite big (we made it to the counrty finals). Now whenever i pass old Leyland baths with its constant threat of Legionnaires disease and little pool that stinks of baby piss i still bow to my sensei so to speak. It can be done. Again this is the point i am making. As for the radio, i was merely pointing out that you suggest a corrilation between older memebrs and a general lack or moving on to new music, or indeed living in some kind of old skool vacum in which any change is met with an autsitic style tantrum (i think we can all poke fun at the staff at HTFR for wearing Naf NAF and driving lilac girls cars in 2006). I was stating that in actual fact i have seen more new stuff being played from older (including myself) than from younger ones, surley that shows how embracing we all are of new sounds, yet still managing to mingle it with old skool.
