I know only me and Vicki! attended this un' on friday who are off the board, but imo this night needed a reviewage just coz it was soooooo blindin! phones:
The atmosphere in the attic on friday was the best i've experienced in a while, much the same as the HAzy vibe .... the crowd were mad for the tunes and really knew their stuff, and upon finishing his set, Jesper recieved the biggest reception ever! phones: Really was sumet special .....
Got in there at 11.30 after leaving Jay's night @ the Rosseti, and walked straight into a room of smiles and top top people Some of the records that were getting played were unreal, with a helpings of early Hip House anc Chicago acid mixed in with some spanking new acid and electro numbers by the residents before Jesper hit the decks at 1 ..... His set was probably one of the best 2 hour sets i've ever witnessed, that guy was a real talent who worked his ass off and was so dedicated to his cause. Every record and cd he played was his own production, apart from the odd Tiga track who hes been working a lot with recently, and every one was ridiculously good, too good to put into words! He played all his Hugg and Pepp tunes and remixes mixed in with loads of new stuff, and kept building it up and down with loads of tricks on the mixer and acid basslines ..... Hopefully will have a copy of the set shorty, so for anyone whos into acid house I can't recommend it any more
For his final tune, being a Swede, Abba's Voulez Vous came pounding in and everyone was just looking at each other as if to say 'what the feck???', but then a 'phuture' style acid bassline started running through it that he'd obviously made himself ..... what a tune!! The whole club was still rammed at the finish of his set at 3, and were all singing 'Voulez Vous - Aha!' .... mad as
Kindergarten - what a night Reeeespect
