now then people, went to joy lastnight ive gotta say it wa another good en from these guys, music wa spot on and the venue is shit hot.
its a shame there wasn't more people there it lacked the atmosphere of joys ive been to in the past. overall a shit hot night though.
don't suppose any of the sets got recorded??

Yes this was a good one!!! all the sets were recorded as usual and will be out soon....

We did have major problems with the security which really did spoil my night...over 100 joy regulars were turned away for no reason at all and i found myself in a massive argument with the worst security i have ever seen, it was a joke. i was even told if i didnt shut up they would close the club down!!!!!!!!!.they even tried to blag my head saying they had more power than the management at the uni!!! i made a phone call and got them all bollocked but this just seem to make them worse!! and when the event finished and everyone had gone the security all gathered round me and tried to cause some trouble--big thanx to LuvDup for getting me out of their fast...
Next was the wicked afterparty at the wine bar in leeds city centre where myself LuvDup and Luigi rocked the place till about 7am..this was my fave part of the evening but the most amusing part of the night was back at mine after the afterparty where LuvDup was surfing down the stairs on an ironing board :crazy: , LuvDup really are mad :fekked: , ive never met anyone as mad!!!it was 3.30 Sunday before he left and that was after god knows how many narcotics..

Overall another top event with an even better laser than we have had before, the place looked amazing, shame we didnt have the extra people in who were turned away, and im really really sorry to all those folks..672 is still not a bad turn out for a new venue and not one of these was a student!,the place looked good, big up to Sy for getting everyone going nicely with yet another wicked joy set.

Great to see the lads from London (respect-see you all soon) and the rest of the ARK crowd were spot on with no trouble at all

Only other problems we had were Galaxy 105 announcing the event wrong on air saying it was on Sunday night not Saturday, how annoying!

Ahh well, was a good un as usual..

Next big big JOY will be back home at the corn exchange as soon as the refit is done

Expect another awesome line up and much more relaxed door staff, again im really sorry to all those folks who were turned away for no reason..

No problem mate, your welcome anytime was great to catch up with you even though i was very stressed!!!..missed u at the afterparty but your mates seemed to enjoy it... :crazy:

Jesus christ was this one powerful laser or what and the sound system was ro

I arrived at the venue about tennish and had a load of trouble with the door staff who didnt let 3 of my mates in were these guys assh..les or what.
Anyway once i got into the venue I got down the stairs and as soon as i opened the door to the stylus the sound system hit me with its loudness and the lights and the laser hit me and this is when i knew this was going to be a good night.
Seemed a bit quiet until DJ SY came on and then everybody was on the danceflloor and having a good time the atmosphere became electric just like the old days
This is what JOY is known for and it was a very good night overall real shame about the door staff and a big shout out to Kells and Tots who played a wicked set and i cant wait to see this venue again :thumbsup:
