By public demand and club owner request we continue our quest to take over the world with yet another new venue, this time its Sheffield who get the chance to experience JOY at one of their best venues, the Adelphi, situated right next to Don Valley stadium, its a wicked venue is this with a capacity of approx 800 set on two floors, balconys and large stage etc + 2 rooms of tunes...This club is home to such events as love2be and uprising and is also the place Gatecrasher was born.
The launch night at this venue is either going to be the Saturday 13th or the 20th of August, and will be a monthly event

Further more we will be introducing a new DJ to the JOY team, many many cd's and demo tapes land on our doorstep week in week out not to mention all the big names that are begging for slots at JOY.But their was only one choice when it came to a decision for a new resident at Sheffield and slots at our other venues from time to time, after the year this guy has had he deserves it more than anyone i know. (you know what i mean)
His music style and the way he constructs his sets have helped him stand out in the crowd, he has gone against the grain in his home town which has taken him on to find his spiritual home at JOY,

Big thanks also going out to Nipper (who understands and loves the JOY style!!), he recommended Sully to me months ago, before i even knew him!!! so well done mate, it takes alot for someone like Nipper to say your the best in Manc, an opinion i trusted and now know myself is true..
