Didnt think that I would make it as I'd been working at Homelands and didnt get back until about 5 on Sunday night but decided fuck it and went down. Paul H played the best set but tunes in both rooms were really good all night. Liked Sullys set as well but felt there were a little too many breaks remixes of old skool in there, think that they would have been more effective just dropping a couple of them as often the remixes arent as good as the originals but its nice to hear something different. In response to Woody saying the tunes were dark and progressive the Joy/ Ark sound was never as piano happy cheesy as say Life or Maximes but some of the djs on the night (such as Steve Luigi) played a lot of the piano anthems. I think this is a nice mix as piano stuff all night can wear a little thin IMO and to hear all old skool styles makes it enjoyable.
