That is Jose & Luis Queen's English although it may not be a commercially released mix since there isn't an exact match on the 12".

Think the other track is Brian Keith - Runnin' In And Out Of My Life
http://www.discogs.com/release/153872

Date of this tape is actually wrong for any historical accuracy mavens out there, should actually be 1/5/92 (this is one of a few tapes given to me back then by a friend called MP that I sent to Gman at deephousepage and I got the dates back-to-front on the files). Also recently put all the tapes that MP gave me, plus three that I taped off the radio back then, online at http://www.scientitian.com/mixtapes.html

Yes i have been on your site last year & had a blast at doing tracklistings for most of the Sound Factory ones.. just haven't got round to posting them on here yet.

In the notes of the discogs entry for Jose & Luis it say's "Original version available on the Sire/Warner Bro. album "New Faces"." So maybe it is this Original version he plays in this set??

Love this set as it contains some of my favourite disco tracks plus some great tunes of the time... so thanks for the info & for making the tapes available

That's great, would love to see the other listings since this was the only one I managed to get complete (there's some tracks on the others that I'd love to find out the names of, particularly the one that goes "a-a-anyway you wanna do me").

This tape is also the only one out of all of them I was actually there for, wish it was possible to also beam footage from inside the club to match the music. The reason there's a rare bout of disco is that it's from way late on Sunday morning, maybe 10:30/11am or so when the club was about 1/3 full. By the time Fast Eddie gets going, a voguing battle had broken out on the dancefloor next to the speaker stack in front of the DJ booth with the queens doing these incredible freeze-frame move to the stabs on that track and on Dub Break, the lights also doing bright flashes in syncopation with them. I suspect that the children from the voguing houses had many more of these tapes (they often hung out down at the piers at the end of Christopher Street playing the tapes on a ghetto blaster after leaving the club on Sunday afternoon) but they probably got played until they fell apart, plus so many of those kids are tragically no longer with us.

Think the track you are after is The Project feat Linda Rice 'Out of Control' (Warehouse Saturday Nite Mix) ..it's the 5th track on the other of your Vazquez tapes (the real 15th March '92 one).

I'll try and sort out the other listings I've done and send you them in a pm.

Excellent, thanks a ton (only took 14 years to find this out!). Went through your Most Wanted to see if I could return the favor, very tough though! The only one I can ID is DMHac10BDayMay92-13.mp3 which is Maurice Joshua feat Chantay Savage - I Gotta Hold On U (Steve's Silky Scat Dub)
http://www.discogs.com/release/159978

Just got the PM too, cheers, I'll take a look through.
