I had a few 12"s nicked a long time back and replaced most of them, but a couple of them I'm still missing are DSK - What Would We Do, and they were just dubs, and I had them on a Boys Own white label. Not sure whether they ever got a release. The other that springs to mind is Saint Ettiene - Only Love Can Break Your Heart, Masters At Work mixes.

Anyone seen these on their travels anywhere?

TIA

Hello wildpitch,

whatyadoinsucka has just replied to a thread you have subscribed to entitled - Just a couple - in the Want's forum of Old Skool Anthemz Message Board.......

Shite. I thought my luck was in when I got that mail...

Have you heard the dubs, they rocked.

CHHHHHOOOOON - my copy has "disappeared" over the years as well - does come up on Ebay - about a tenner

Wildpitch,

Was in Vinyl Exchange last week & im pretty sure they had the slam mixes of DSK, great tune by the way, in the balaeric section, for about 8 quid, give them a ring

Ive got the MAW mixes of St Etienne, you can have a rip if you want

Cheers bud. Have you got a number for them? I'm about 300 miles south and have no idea where they are exactly.

Thanks for the offer of the rip. I've got an mp3 of one of the mixes and just after the vinyl.

Bit of a breakthrough Konspiracy. Whoever I spoke to there yesterday, said I should call back today and speak with someone called Mike as he knows more about this kind of music. I just have and he pointed me in the direction of their website, which had one, so that and a few other choice tunes should be winging their way down to me in the next few days. Good prices too.

Thanks for giving me the details mate.

Nice1,

Never got anything from VE by mail, like to go there for a rummage every now and again, they normally have some great stuff in

Bought a mint copy of Axe Corner from there last week to replace my battered one which is of no use to anybody, huge click right thru the best mix

@Shoomster. Thanks mate. If that was for me, I've got the original 12" and the Weatherall 12". Just the MAW remixes I'm missing.
