Oh ok Nicky, you pulled my leg:P ha Before I rant, can I just say, Killing in the name of is one of my all time fave tunes...Great memories of moshing out at the Ritz and Rockworld to Rage Against the Machine.... When I first heard about the campaign, I thought it would be hilarious if Rage Against the Machine got to No.1, but then I learned that Rage Against the Machine are signed to Sony. Now Simon Cowell's production company Syco are signed to Sony and are responsible for 70% of Sony's profit. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but with this figure, I'm assuming that he will have a large amount of shares in Sony??! So if this is the case, then all this campaign is doing is lining his pockets more and making the public look even more ridiculous than we already do most of the time. The same amount of people will still be buying the XFactor song, so all the rest of us are doing are helping Simon and the fat cats at Sony buy another house in L.A! It's the most ridiculous protest ever! the idea was good, but the people who came up with it really should have done their homework 1st.... Buy a song where the proceeds go to charity if you wanna make a change ;)
