its becuase kids wanna grow up too fast, and in a world where everything is sex obsessed in the media and adverts/programs, with peer pressure to not be the 'last' to have a boyfriend and tall tales about how 'mature' so and so is becuse they know about such and such and did so and so -even though its a load of bull 98% of the time, is why I think it happens this way. Its getting to the point where a girl ditches her realistic looking baby doll that sucks a dummy and skrikes because she has her own real one to look after! lol. Nah, perhaps not that far, but you know what I mean. kids are more streetwise, know more about technology and things than thier parents do, are too keen to grow up and play at being adult. Its a shame. Kids seem do be doing what i did when i was a kid, but only five years earlier than I did, just stuff like shopping in a big city with your m8's, bowling unsupervised and stuff. I dunno. Say you set a nanny on your computer to filter certain words or sites, you can guarantee a kid will be able to bypass it somehow without you knowing because they know about this stuff even more than we do. Its good that they are living life to the full this way in some ways, but a shame in others if you know what I mean :S . I dont even know what I mean! lol. Peeps with kids can anwer this one better than I !! lol. I think the chatroom thing is purely a source of escape, like a diary, you can pretend to be whatever or whoever you want, stretch your imagination, like most of us did at some point before the internet. I dont think thats necessarily a bad thing, aslong as it doesnt get out of hand. Sirius.
