In an ideal world (which we're not in) we'd all have a much more direct say in any changes however small. I view the country like a big company, it's middle and top management mostly arseholes, and where the 'workers' opinions go largely ignored. Hehe, I liked that line, had to highlight it. No idea on how the best way to make ourselves herd(!), maybe we should dress as sheep and Baa Baa parliament at every given opportunity? (see what I did there) A lot of things are still censored to a degree though, half a minute shaved off Fight Club for the UK release, there are many more examples, but that seemed silly to me, I don't like censorship in films, I like to make my own mind up, and having sat and watched nearly all the 'video nasties' of the 80's, uncut versions are harder to track down, yet if you mention this to a lot of people, they automatically get that look in their eye, "ohhh naughty man, he's watching dodgy fillums again" feh. I thought all news policies did this? I try and avoid the news if possible, as it's delivery isn't the best in most mediums, I'd rather sniff out anything that might interest me via the many links that surfice on messageboards and the likes. So it's not rammed down my throat throughout the day.
