lol. "And now, Ladies and gentlemen - The undisputed heavyweights of arm chair politics". In the Red Corner, from Outa Space - Its Sirius - In the Blue Corner its Blue Jammer" hahaha. Nah, jammer is right, and the sheep dressing this was a great turn on words . lol. Im no better and going out changing things as anyone else, all I mean is nobody seems to care in this quite bizzare 'well, it going to happen isnt it, what can we do about it?" attitude. Hello - why? I cant say Im a particular fan of the french, theyre alright, you know, but all these strikes we whinge about they pull at airports and lorries etc - at least they make a noise and just dont roll over and accept defeat like we do. We are quite pathetic that way, including myself. Youre right, It is like a big company......however, if key staff are not heard, the business suffers and if messeges from everyday workers about failures or improvemrnts are not passed up the chain to the key staff, problems can not be properly delt with. It should be a 'Bottom Up' or 'Middle Out' approach and not just 'Top Down'. The thing is, the countrymen and women are the staff, and without a happy and profitable staff, your company fragments and ceases to work properly. To further the analogy, spongers are the ones who go to work and rely on somebody else's hard work to make them look like they do something. The people are the engine of the country, they are the ones who make it work, not a 1% of polititians who decide for us, or doo gooder PC types who are not elected by anyone but theyre own self importance. Its my experience that managers are two a penny, and key staff and a good workforce dedicated to thier jobs are hard to come by. Governments will come and go, but its the same old shite no matter who it is, all they do when a change comes in is undo billions of pounds worth of each others's projects, keeping the boat afloat in a constant diping and raising of things. We just lose out stumping up the taxes for it all, often things we never asked for. Saying that, I wouldnt vote Tory ever, anyway. lol. Lol. I aint going head to head with BlueJammer hahaha, I dont think we are that opposed actually. :) Sirius. ps. what was the thread topic again? lol.
