Nicely put Bluejammer m8. My only disagreement is that I personally dont buy into this 'french culture' obsession that is rife. Ofcourse, they have interesting views and arts and lets say 'flair' when it comes to cuisine - but I personally dont rate it above any other half decent country's efforts to be honest. So (the oh so often used in arguments) Frogs legs and snail with side dressing followed by a horse steak (blood raw) doused in ten tons of garlic and onions is not somehow 'magically' fantastic for me. It holds no higher place than a piella from spain or Italy's lasagna in my book. A lancashire roast is just as good (better in my view) than a lot of the stuff they are 'famous' for having. Its just that its prepared fancier and 'different' to other countries offerings which is perhaps the reason its taken on this stance. Going on about French coultures can often be, *but not always*, a snobery and upperclass seeking mental perspective. "Oh yes I adore french films and just luuuurrve thier cuisine, yada yada ya etc". Those who genuinely are into it are quite rightly proud of that fact, others are just hangers on. I respect thier general culture and Im not saying its bad or good, just not necessarily better than anyone elses in my opinion. Ive sat and watched a few french films, which are more matters of the heart and feelings of situations of life, and thats good. Some of them go too far for me personally though in the name of art. Anyway........you waer glasses for the same reason as me too! lol.
