Has anybody any idea why certain bits of lamb, i mean really sparodic bits have an evil, wierd, mouldy taste?

You can buy some chops and 3 of them are okay, but just one mouthfull of one can taste foul?

Its not a compertition, i really want to know if anyone has any ideas.

:)

Aye, I dont eat lamb either. When I was little, Im sure someone told me that when they sold lamb it was becuase they had unfortunately died naturally and all that jive.....little liars! Just to get me to eat the bloody stuff as a kid :naughty: . Dont eat it anymore, and I wish I had been brought up a vegetarian now. I gave it a do, vegetarianism, but I couldnt maintain the will power to pull it off long term. I have cut down a lot though, and instead developed a taste for Veggi hotdogs, sausages, quorn steaks as replacement for chops, veggi burgers and whatever, but still have chicken and chops too, juts not as much.

Amelie, it may depend where you buy them. If you get them from a proper butchers shop I dont think you will have the same problem, cos I find many pre-packed supermarket meats always have one bit that tastes a bit dodgy- also I find that freezing them makes wierd shit happen tastewise too, where 80% is okay, but some of whatever it is is just mingin'.
