Lol, sorry mate we'll just call it Northenden cos Didsbury's alright and if I start saying associating it with things like Fridays then reputations and house prices are gonna plummet. I aint been there for a long time but like you say, all that Ive missed is very ugly fat slaps and fighting (and ya dont have to be in their for that sheeet) Best night I ever had in there was when Mitzo's ( the cars ;) ) were first out and I had to go there for a works do. Had a few of the said and, well, twas a more enjoyable evening than the usual grimness the place provides. As for Milk Inc, their the swedes who did that 'In my eyes' which was hammered at Wigan Pier and then on every fekkin 'dance' compilation about 2/3 years back arent they?? Not my cuppa. but I assume that this latest offering is even worse cos once these 'artists' get a taste for money then they tend to open up their own Gorgonzola factory a la Mr Allens CLOCK crew's venture into chart music and a few other notables who 'sold out' (tis where the moolah is though I suppose). Good point on the fact of old skool being safe whilst the other stuff fills the commercial coffers btw - I prefer that 'safety net' myself to be honest. D'ya remember 95 ish when there were chart releases of Xpansions etc and I thought "Shite, this aint good for it at all".
