Starting on Friday 26th November 2004 a new weekly old skool night called LEGACY will be starting at the brand new club COBRA in Oldham. The Launch Party is open to everyone, and promises to be a big one! Here's the deets for the night:

Friday 26th November 2004
LEGACY - Old Skool & Club Classics

DJs:

STU ALLAN
ROB THURSTON
GRIMMY

Time: 10pm till 2am
Entry: £5
Where: Cobra, Yorkshire Street, Oldham Town Centre (Mumps)

The action continues every friday thereafter in December, full details to be announced

think they mite just do it sully iv bin in that club cobra on a thurs nite an its bin packed full of students. it mite die down after 12 coz every1 will b goin in2 liquid an oldham is busy on a wkend
think with club 25 it was 2 far from the rest of the bars an clubs an no 1 cud really c it went in there on a thurs nite an there was me an my 2 mates an the bar staff an the dj think it mite just bin were its located plus that nite was rock nite dint no untill i got in like :$
anyways good look with it :thumbsup:

good luck with it carl, just interested from experience with the oldham crowd - the biggest nights we had were when people travelled from around manchester, not the general oldham crowd. sure easty will tell ya the same.

like i say mate good luck with it all, got some decent names on there that should get some attention.

LOL, sorry people, I had my bellend head on when I wrote that last night.

By saying what I did, I meant that if I leave no stone unturned (which i intend to do) promotion wise, then there's a chance we can be successful, i've been out of the game too long, I really want/need this.

Easty - Muchos respec' for what u've done with substance & i will definitely be gettin u & Warren down regular & I hope your phone's ready for my impending requests for advice :thumbsup:

Ive been doin this ( successfully , id like to think anyway ;) ) for just under 5 and half years now :)

and have learnt that is the NUMBER 1 rule !!! you could be the most talented promoter on the planet ( ie have done well with big nights in the past , but ya canne just expect to use that to have other successfull nights , as ive seen many times in the past ) , if you aint gonna put the work in 110% , dont expect to get anything out . . . :) . . how ever in some cases even this is not enough , it can all depend on were and what sort of night your puttin on i guess . . :) , promoting is not an easy game at the best of times !! as im sure many ppl will agree with me . . :) suprised i aint got grey hair myself yet with all the stress etc ! lol lol , tis worth it tho . . when ya see a club full of happy smily faces :) :)

LOL, I have got the grey hair through it all.
Ben is right with everything he has said, we have been lucky as we have had a big crowd who follow us.
Carl mate, no worries mate, I just found that quote pretty funny. give us a ring as and when. Just remember that I can't get no reception in my gaff so if you can't get through then just leave a message
