Theres no way you can cancel it unless you had an illness or broke ya leg etc, i think. Me n me mum have signed a 2 year contract with our gym. Last time me mum signed a contract she never bloody went and tried to cancel, don't think she got very far.

Yeah but what will happen if you just stop the direct debit at your bank?

I reckon they'll get on to you, dunno what they'll do but if you have signed a contract then i would go over all the clauses first as it could get you into trouble. Have you asked them about cancelling it and if so what have they said?

Its Trace btw. :)

easy peasy

go once or twice at peak times (in case you have a swipe thingy - if not, then its up to you)

tell em you aren't happy with the availability of equipment - ie: the service they provide does not meet your expectations

but you DO need to have a peak time membership for this blag (doh!)

other than that.... they could technically sign over the debt to an agency for collection... that could escalate to a CCJ if they are arsoles (and most collection agencies only take on debt a they will make a profit out of it ) would they go legal? dunno. wouldn't like to say otherwise.

I think they can reinstate the DD.

My mate was at Holmes Place with me and moved to Scotland. When he told them they let him off real easy.

I'm not sayin you should lie :p but Im sure if your moving away and your real nice like my mate was ;-)
